"It came to me that every time I lose a dog they take a piece of my heart with them. And every new dog who comes into my life gifts me with a piece of their heart. If I live long enough, all the components of my heart will be dog, and I will become as generous and loving as they are." ... Cheryl Zuccaro

Cassidy

MACH CASSIDY’S GOLD’N MELLO YELLO ADHF EAC EJC AG1
8/8/1996 - 9/14/09

Who knew when I picked this pup she would have changed the direction of my life…

Cassidy was my friend and my foundation in training, handling, and competing. Because of Cassidy, I have a reputable breeding program, a houseful of goldens, 5 (almost 6) MACH’s, and a garage/backyard full of agility equipment. The people I have met through agility have become life long friends.

Cassidy will live in my heart forever.

Spree
AGILGOLD'S BREAK'N THE BANK OA OAJ
June 2, 2007 - October 7, 2009

On this Wednesday morning, Spree along with the rest of my goldens, ran for the door to go outside. On the way Spree collapsed and died. A necropsy revealed nothing that would cause her sudden death. Four months earlier Spree had received her OFA heart certification. We are devastated by her loss.

9/27/09 - This would be the last time we would run together...Spree didn't q this day but she had the most beautiful runs. The courses were challenging for a young dog but here was Spree two jumps ahead of me, reading the rear crosses and the layering like a seasoned pro. I saw a confident dog ready to take the agility world by storm. The runs were finished with Spree bouncing up and down as if to say, "Did you see me? I did it!!!"

Spree's Accomplishments:

9 trials: Novice to Excellent: 7-1st's, 3-2nd's, 1-3rd, 3-4th's

Open Jumpers title, Sept. 2009

Open Standard title, August 2009

Novice Standard/JWW titles, May 2009
